The Story of the

Road Worthy Band

In February 2022 at an all you can eat buffet in Playa Del Carmen Mexico an adventure in the making began.  Scott Yvonne from Alberta Canada and Dominik Forstmeyer from Bavaria Germany had a conversation about music and decided to go Jam at a studio in Cancun Mexico.  Over the next 7 days in Playa Del Carmen they performed together on a few different stages both coming to an understanding of chemistry in Music . They talked about a band in the making and performing a few shows in Canada.

They then reconnected that year in Alberta Canada and spent the summer practicing and playing shows throughout Alberta and British Columbia .    Between practicing under a tent in the pouring rain, and loosing breaks on a high pass road in the rocky mountains that left them stranded with no cell service. Scott and Dominic  pulled through with the help of some amazing people . Got rescued , bought a blues mobile and finished their first Canadian Tour.  With a new plan in mind.

They made a plan the end of the summer of 2022 to test the music waters of Europe .  After a few meetings and planning they decided to set goals for 2024 to give enough time to achieve the financial goals to make this possible. They decided to take a musical motorcycle journey around the world starting in may of 2024.  That following year they took an 18 day road trip from France to the UK, the UK to Ireland , from Ireland to the NeverLands to Germany and back to France and purchased music equipment along the way and performed a few shows to test the waters.

That year of 2023 Dominik started working on getting his bike license and Scott purchased a Victory Vision Tour with a trailer to tow behind the bike to haul the music equipment.  Then Dominik in 2024 obtained his motorcycle license and purchased a R1200RT BMW touring Motorcycle and Scott shipped his bike and trailer to Rome Italy.  Dominik’s  bike was big enough that he was able to pack a digital drum kit on it, plus cloths for the adventure and Scott was able to haul the remaining music equipment in the trailer behind his bike.

Scott traveled up through Italy , Switzerland to Munich Germany where he met up with Dominik for a week of practice.  Juggling work and finance they decide to meet up in Scotland the following Month .   Scott continued on to Berlin and started making his way across Germany stopping to spend a week of preparation just outside of Nienburg Germany in a small cabin on a farm.  Scott then continued on playing a few shows through the NeverLands and the UK where Dominik joined Scott in the town of March UK at the Castle for royalty to prepare for the next few weeks of tour.

They continued on up to the boarders of Scotland where they spent 2 weeks performing around the boarders of Scotland.  Fighting the rain for two months, bike break downs and finances getting low they took 2 weeks to re-group .  Scott traveled on down through Ireland and into France .  After a short hold up to replace trailer tiers Scott continued on to Spain where Dominik re-joined Scott to perform a few more shows .

In the beginning of August the clutch on Scott’s bike went for the second time , four hundred pounds is just a bit much to pull behind a motorcycle.    They decided to regroup and both returned home.    Still searching for the other band member’s , a bass player and keyboard player , as well as starting to work on an original product they continue to play shows around the Glob as a duo act.
